Answering the clamor for data centers (DC) to be further integrated into the academe, pioneering DC provider Digital Halo recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna (MMCL).
The MOA activates programs that offer immersive internship opportunities for students, faculty exposure to DC operations & relevant technologies, and the knowledge transfer of the latest DC best practices into the teaching curriculum of engineering and IT subjects.
The private sector-academic institution collaboration aims to produce data center-ready graduates and subsequently address the local and global shortage of data center professionals.
